Blackjack RulesThe object of the game is to beat the dealer by getting as close to 21 as possible without going over or bust. Once the bets are in place, two cards are dealt to each player and one card to the dealer - all face up. Players will be asked in turn if they would like additional cards. The dealer draws his cards last. You can double your bet if the first two cards total 9, 10 or 11, but you will only receive one more card. You can split any matching pairs by putting an equal stake alongside the original bet. Aces count as 1 or 11. Picture cards 10 and all other cards at face value. Blackjack (Ace and 10) pays 3 - 2. All other winning bets pay 1 - 1. If the dealer and the player have the same amount it is called a 'stand off'.
